Tested on adult and juvenile scorpions of the genus Centruroides spp., Heteroctenus spp. and Grosphus spp.
The mites were on each animal more than 20 pieces and this usually means certain death.
Since I already had such a case before, i tried a helpful method:
- Keep affected animal in new container on granular and dusty sand, without bark and stones. Maximum temperature 86F.
- Carefully swing the box every day so that dust is released and the animal slides over the sand.
- After 6 days minimum spraying and let dry.
- Feeding.
- 3 days after the feed again lightly spray.
I have used it for 3 weeks and most animals are free and some have only 2-5 mites. At extremely humid I would proceed just like this but perhaps a little more spray.
