On June 27, 2011, UNESCO declared the Serra de Tramuntana a World Heritage Site. It is 90km long.
Tourism is very weak here, but climbers can be seen more often. The untouched nature and the 54 peaks allow a lot to be discovered. There are some hiking trails, many viewpoints and villages in the mountains.
A very, very beautiful mountain range!
But briefly before in...
Alarò
Alaró is a small town. The weekly market is every Saturday in the town hall.
Here we noticed for the first time that people like to drink a glass of red wine in the morning. We also sit down in a "café" and did so.
The way up there is serpentine, in some places really narrow and not everyone likes to drive here.
We stopped at the starting point and parking lot of the Restaurant es Verger.
From here there is a not too steep route up to the Castell d´ Alaró.
Climbing
Half the way is done.
Viewpoint
I also found a scorpion up here...unfortunately only one. It was Euscorpius balearicus. But i can't find the pictures anymore.
Millipede & Centipede
The nature finds its way...
Done. The walk took about 2 hours, if I remember correctly. 817m high.
Castell d`Alaró
A little chilly up here but with a light jacket it went. The air was very fresh and you feel like newborn.
It was harmonic.
Let's take a seat...
The restaurant es Verger had a great menu and was a real sensation inside. Really rustic, rural and traditional. Very nice and easy. I had flirted with the suckling pig but unfortunately it was already sold out and I ordered lamb and Amanda fresh prawns.

Sundown
Here is the second visit in the mountains of 2017 -->
Why not watch a show? The Fusion Show should be dynamic, vibrant, colorful, funny, soulful and exciting...let's see that. It's a show of acrobatics, dancing and singing.
Entry was a few minutes later and we waited in the forecourt.
Dinner Theatre Son Amar
It was a small and nice walk...
One room further we are greeted with champagne and some classical music.
The Show starts...
Fusion
They could sing really well and they were passionate about it.
Awesome!
Tomorrow is our day of departure...but we'll be back next year. It just has to be written.
6th Day: Last Day in Palma:
